Dell XPS 700 PC barebones system

Dell has finally relented and introduced a barebones version of their XPS line, starting off with the XPS 700 boutique PC. Prices start from $1120 for an Intel 930 processor, 512MB RAM, a motherboard and power supply. Dell aims to have a dedicated section at the XPS site eventually to cater for D.I.Y. enthusiasts or those who want to upgrade their basic computing infrastructure without purchasing newer components like sound cards and hard drives.
