Keeping in line with the RAZR naming convention, Motorola plans to unveil the SCPL (pronounced “scalpel”) range of ultra slim cellphones by the time 2007 rolls around. Details regarding the SCPL are scarce, but we know for sure that it will be thinner than the current RAZR line. Apart from that, there will be 5 other features that ought to knock the wind out of Motorola’s rivals in the race for the best slimmest phone. One can only wonder what those are – a music player and 3G connection are some of the suggestions. Thin is in these days and it will be interesting to see Samsung and LG’s reactions to the SCPL.
