SK Telecom unveils WiBro, HSDPA, EV-DO PCMCIA card

South Koreans have more reasons for cheer as SK Telecom and Samsung revealed a revolutionary PCMCIA card that supports EV-DO, HSDPA, and WiBro. With Korean Telecom on the verge of going live with their WiBro service, SK Telecom has decided to counter that move via the new PCMCIA card. Even though WiBro and HSDPA have nearly identical speeds and shares the same market demographic, it is always good to have a choice. SK Telecom will launch a commercial package next month along with the card, but a $60 monthly charge could prove to be an obstacle to some.
