The Sony Ericsson SO902WP+ is actually an upgrade of the SO902i, and it comes with the ability to remain functional while submerged in a metre-deep of water for up to half an hour. Unfortunately, the camera has been downgraded to a 1.3-megapixel version from the original 3.2-megapixel – probably to make way for the waterproof components used within. The display is extremely bright, making it suitable for use even underwater. The SO902WP+ is available in Japan from DoCoMo for around $315.
