
With the World Cup just on the horizon, vendors are hoping that sales of LCD TVs will be brisk as fans gear up for the ultimate World Cup experience – after all, if you can’t afford a ticket to Germany, why not watch all the matches from the comfort of your home on a lovely big-screen LCD TV? There’s one caveat though, oversupplied inventories might mean manufacturers will introduce some drastic price cuts to move all that stock. Looks like a win-win situation for the consumers, whether they buy now or later.
