USB-powered Ultrasound probe

This USB-powered ultrasound probe sounds like a pretty nifty device, but you can’t purchase it yet at the moment as it is awaiting approval from the FDA. It weighs a mere 7.5 ounces and works flawlessly for B-mode imaging. This ultrasound probe comes with its own suite of software that processes the captured image and it will be available in 3.5MHz, 5.0MHz, 7.5MHz and 12MHz configurations. It should cost around $3700 when available commercially.
