A new study suggests that surgeons who prep themselves for surgery by playing video games for around 20 minutes resulted in performing faster surgical drills with fewer errors than those who did not. The study involved 303 surgeons and was conducted by Beth Israel Medical Center in New York. Performance of surgeons who played video games before the drill completed a surgical procedure 11 seconds ahead of those who didn’t. Hopefully the surgeons will get a DS Lite and have a field time with the hit game Trauma Center: Under the Knife.
