Acer’s new CP-8660 is an 8 megapixel camera that sports 6x optical zoom and 8.5x digital zoom. This mid-level digital camera is nothing much to shout about and has a rather bland, boxy design. Amongst the list of features include the anti-shake system to provide those with less than steady hands an opportunity to take sharp photos. The 2.8″ LCD affords a generous viewing area, while Acer has thoughtfully included 25MB of internal memory in case you run out of SD cards at the most inopportune moment. Unfortunately, SD card support is limited to 1GB cards only. The CP-8660 can capture VGA video at 30fps and comes with PictBridge compatibility.
