All Pocket PC enthusiasts can stop squabbling about the HTC Hermes’ specs – the finalized list has been released and we’re glad to say that the original 300MHz processor has been given an extra boost to 400MHz. Other than that, the 2.0 megapixel camera, 128MB ROM, 128MB RAM, Bluetooth & WiFi connectivity still stands. Unfortunately, the move to offer only UMTS connectivity could put off potential buyers. It would be better if this Windows Mobile 5.0-operated smartphone can be upgraded to include HSDPA support. Stateside readers should keep their fingers crossed that the Hermes will come with Cingular 3G support.
