A new Internet cafe has opened its doors to the public in Cornwall, offering connections that are 50 times faster (100Mbps) than your everyday broadband service. Visitors to the Goonhilly satellite station are connected to BT’s global Internet protocol network and the service will be free to visitors. What would normally take more than 5 hours’ worth of downloading time registers just 15 minutes with this new connection.
