The film industry is abuzz with news that feature film downloads should be available by the end of 2006 from Apple’s online store that is modeled after the iTunes Music Store. This move could be delayed as Apple and major picture studios are thrashing out each film’s price, where the initial $9.99 offer by Steve Jobs was thrown out of the window. Frankly, we doubt that anyone would want to spend a few hours squinting their eyes on a 5G iPod video when they can enjoy movies on a Portable Media Player with 7 inches of viewing real estate.
