iPod decks that play music, offer protection against the elements, and even recharge the iPod itself are dime a dozen. How many iPod decks out there actually allow the output of photos and videos to a TV, with background music to boot? Kensington has unveiled the new Entertainment Dock 500 that is easy to use and solid in design. The remote control has a range of up to 50 feet and uses Radio Frequency technology to send signals. Videos on HDTVs do experience a degree of pixilation via the S-Video connection, but it offers a solid performance otherwise. Needless to say, playback on normal TV sets were excellent.
