Microsoft introduces line of LifeCams

Microsoft’s new LifeCam VX-6000 and LifeCam VX-3000 are optimized for use with Windows Live Messenger. Pressing the Windows Live Call Button located at the top of each LifeCam will start the Buddy Picker tool that shows only online buddies. The LifeCam Dashboard is built into Windows Life Messenger, providing instant access to pan, tilt, and zoom controls. You can also upload pictures taken with the LifeCam to a Windows Live Space blog with a single click. The 5 megapixel VX-6000 webcam costs $99.95 while the 1.3 megapixel VX-3000 is $50 cheaper. Both devices will be shipped in August upon availability, so place your orders with Amazon today. Looks like Microsoft’s hardware design team have outdone Logitech this time.
