The slim and small Optio A10 from Pentax places more emphasis on function than form. It looks pretty ordinary, but the A10 can shoot lovely 8 megapixel pictures crisply and cleanly. The A10 is the first digtal camera from Pentax that comes with built-in image stabilization, but its performance is not up to par with Panasonic’s Lumix range. The generous 2.5″ LCD screen works great nearly everywhere except under bright light. Video is recorded in VGA clips at 30fps under the DivX format. Photos and videos are stored on an SD card. The A10 is currently going for $265.99.
