PQI, creator of the beautifully-designed U510, has created a 2.5″ solid state hard drive that comes with an amazing 64GB of space with a relatively portable price tag. Its better to fork out $2000 for this than SimpleTech’s 128GB solid state hard drive that costs 25 times more for just double the capacity. Talk about a price reduction! PQI’s offering offers sustained transfer speeds of 32MB/s and has negligible seek time. Being so small in size, the technology used within is more shock-resistant, lighter, and looks set to offer better power consumption than its mechanical equivalents. PQI will release this 2.5″ wonder in August.
