The state of Texas plans to allow web users all over the world to keep an eye over the Texas-Mexico border and to call the authorities upon spotting an illegal crossing. These cameras will focus on the most probable areas as well as common routes of illegal entry. The total cost for the cameras that span the 1,000 mile border are in the region of $5 million. Any calls made to the authorities are free of charge. This is a pretty smart move by the government from an economical point of view.
