Shuttle is going one-up on its already impossibly compact Small Form Factor PC with the release of the XPC X100 – essentially a flat black slab with the equivalent size of a large book. It houses an Intel 1.83GHz Core Duo processor, a DVD burner, and a 3.5″ hard disk drive. The XPC X100 is powered by an external 120W adapter. The inclusion of an internal USB socket upfront offers the option to plug in a Bluetooth or an equivalent wireless USB stick. Shuttle aims to create a new market this time with the introduction of the XPC X100, very much like how they stormed the world with their range of SFF PCs a few years ago.
