Sony releases new Vaio TX3 notebooks

The general perception about Sony’s Vaio line is a pretty machine without much substance within. However, Sony’s brand recognition and sleek lines in its products are not the only factors present in the new Vaio TX3 notebooks. These ultraportable Vaios come with an 80GB hard drive, a dual-layer DVD burner, built-in WiFi & Bluetooth connectivity, and an 11.1″ LCD with LED backlighting in a 1″ thick package. Unfortunately, these notebooks only downside will be the choice between a 1.2GHz U1400 Core Solo processor or the budget 1.06GHz Celeron M. Expect to fork out $2,000 and above for the Vaio TX3 line of notebooks.
