Verizon integrates EVDO with Toshiba Portege Tablet PC

The Portege M400-S4032 Tablet PC from Toshiba comes with integrated EV-DO technology for Verizon Wireless BroadbandAccess service. This all-in-one solution offers unprecedented connectivity for those who require instant access anytime, anywhere. There is no unsightly protruding antenna to worry about, since the EV-DO hardware is built into the chassis directly. There is no significant weight gain as the Portege M400 weighs around 4.5 lbs and a 6-cell battery. Verizon Wireless’ EV-DO network offers transmission speeds between 400 Kbps to 700 Kbps. A host of other connectivity options on the Portege M400 include WiFi, Bluetooth, and Gigabit Ethernet.
