6G iPod could be wireless

Apple fans who are palpipating at the fact that rumors regarding Microsoft’s attempt to develop a portable audio and video device with wireless capability can breathe easier as analysts predict Apple will not take this new development lying down. Since Apple has always released two iPods per year on average, there is enough room and time for Apple to release a new wireless iPod when fall rolls around. Will the iPod’s undisputed position in the market be threatened? Only time will tell, but it is the consumers who will end up as the winners no matter what the outcome is.
