iPod nano speaker docks are dime a dozen, but the Altec Lansing iM500 captures the spirit of the nano perfectly with its extremely thin folding design (8.5″ x 0.7″ x 5″), and they both complete each other when put together, very much like two peas in a pod. The iM500 is no performance slouch, as the broad-faced speaker cones are able to drive more air into a smaller space, while the MaxxBass technology does away with the need for a dedicated sub. The $130 iM500 also comes with a built-in iPod dock and an auxiliary jack that enables other audio sources to be connected to it.
