Archos to release 404, 604

The Archos 404 will be released soon, and we know that this digital audio player will come with a generous 3.5″ 16 million color TFT screen that supports a resolution of 320 x 240. It measures 3.94″ x 3.03″ x 0.59″ and weighs 6.7 ounces. Features include a 30GB hard drive, PDF viewer, voice recorder, a built-in speaker, and support for the following formats – MP3/WAV/WMA, JPG/BMP/PNG, and XviD/DivX/MPEG4 ASP/WMV9. You will need to purchase an optional DVR module to record MPEG 4 video in 640 x 480 resolution from external sources. The Archos 604 shares the same features and functions, save it comes with a larger 4.3″ screen. Pricing details and the release date are unavailable.
