The Averatec 4155 comes in a lovely shade of dark blue and boasts a 13.3″ widescreen display that utilizes AveraBrite screen technology as well as a full-size keyboard at the affordable price of £799. The 4155 is powered by the AMD Turion 64 Mobile processor, a first from Averatec. Other specs include 512MB of PC2700 RAM, a 80GB hard drive, WiFi, FireWire and USB 2.0 ports, and the Mirage SiS760GX GPU. You can play media files directly via Windows Media Player without booting the noteboko up. Unfortunately, the design of the 4155 falls a little short of its peers as it borders on the childish. Overall the 4155 is great for home users and students as it is anything but a desktop replacement.
