Everyone thought that Boot Camp on the Mac was the next best thing since sliced bread, but CodeWeavers have come up with something better – the CrossOver Mac program enables Intel-based Macs to run Windows-based applications without the hassle of actually installing Microsoft’s ubiqitous operating system. CrossOver Mac is expected to ship sometime in late July or early August this year at a recommended retail price of $59.95 each. Volume and educational discounts will be offered to those who qualify. Expect games like Half Life 2 to run on Macs that have CrossOver Mac installed.
