
Dell has made available the new Wireless 1500 Draft 802.11n dual-band wireless card for all its Dell XPS systems and selected Inspiron notebooks. This new internal wireless mini card can churn out performance figures that are 5 times faster with twice the range when compared against the current 802.11g WiFi standard. The 1500 is able to support data rates of up to 270Mbps, a far cry from today’s 54Mbps. This Dell card is WiFi certified, ensuring backwards compatibility with 802.11a/b/g standards.
