Matthew Ritter from Yanko Design has designed a modular desktop concept in the form of the Dell XCS. The cylindrical design encases the hardware components and conceals the circuit boards within to place the XCS on top of the science fiction gadget list. Each component within is a modular and shaped with its very own spot. The designer has also developed a number system that makes it easy to know the specifications as compared against today’s confusing specifications found in software. It is still unconfirmed whether the XCS concept will ever enter into production.
