Iiyama unveils ProLite LCD monitor

Iiyama of Japan has realeased the 17″ ProLite E431S-6 LCD monitor with a 2ms response time that makes it useful for gaming and general entertainment purposes. The E431S-6 supports a maximum SXGA resolution of 1280 x 1024 and boasts a contrast ratio of 700:1, 300cd/m2 brightness, and a 160-degree viewing angle. There are two DVI-D connections as well as a pair of 1.5W stereo speakers to save you more desktop space. This LCD monitor measures 368.5mm x 188.5mm x 379mm and weighs 9 pounds. It is available in Japan and priced at approximately $237.
