Home theater PCs (HTPCs) are expected to come in a design that will blend in with today’s home entertainment setups and operate in the most quiet manner possible since nobody likes watching a movie with the hum of a CPU fan whirring away in the background. LixSystems introduces the Lx8100-939BB-A8NVM barebones HTPC case that measures roughly the size of a DVD player at 16.2″ x 11″ x 3.2″ for $299. This case comes with a motherboard that supports AMD dual core processors and has a 5.1-channel onboard chip, a 9-in-1 memory card reader, interchangeable front plates, and a Nvidia GeForce 6150 chipset.
