The FDA has approved the NESS L300 system that enables those who suffer from a paralyzed foot to walk safely without fear of falling or imbalance. This device will stimulate muscles in the affected leg with a miniscule amount of electricity during the swing phase while wakling, improving the individual’s gait in order to provide a more balanced and safer walking experience. The NESS L300 can also be used as a therapeutic training device to assist the facilitation of muscle re-education while preventing muscle atrophy due to disuse as well as improving blood circulation when the patient is inactive.
