Nintendo microphone & headphone combo for DS

Nintendo has recently announced a microphone and headphone combo for the Nintendo DS/DS Lite at a product fair in Japan. This communications peripheral will be released on September 14 at a recommended retail price of $10 after conversion. This microphone and headset combo will be used in DS games that support the VoIP function. Metroid Prime: Hunters and the soon-to-be-released Pokemon Diamond & Pearl are some of the titles that come to mind. The photo on the right is a 3rd party solution by Datel.
