Silynx has developed a tiny tactical hearing protection communication headsets for use with elite Special Forces all over teh world. The QuietOps Smart Tactical Communication Headset and Ear Protector aims to replace current multiple tactical communication headsets with a single lightweight system that offers full-spectrum active noise reduction, hands-free operation, super-normal hearing, sound localization, and total mask efficiency for the complete flexibility in a communication system. Neat, but when will such technology make its way to the consumer electronics arena?
