SanDisk’s new line of Extreme IV CompactFlash cards claim to be the fastest cards in the world that will definitely put other brands to shame with its 40MB/s read/write speed. These new CF cards will be welcome by professional photographers and journalists alike, as they can spend more time on taking photos without missing a vital moment. In order to facilitate an equally fast method of copying the photos over to the PC, SanDisk will also release its Extreme Firewire reader that are able to achieve a 40MB/s data transfer rate over Firewire 800 connections, while a Firewire 400 connection does half the speed. Purchase these 2GB, 4GB, and 8GB cards for $200, $400, and $700 respectively.
