The concept wind-powered bike light was designed by Taiwanese Hsieh Jung-Ya, winning his firm Duck Image an award from Red Dot in the process. This concept sees a mini turbine that is mounted on the handlebars of a bike, using the wind that flows through the blades to power a 1700 lux LED light. It also eliminates the age-old problem of being powerless whenever the rider is stationary as this contraption comes with a rechargeable lithium battery that is able to provide a constant stream of light, whether you are mobile or not.
