Here’s a concept USB flash drive by Duck Image that offers unprecedented protection should it ever go into production. Dubbed the 007 USB Flash Drive, it is an amalgamation of digital security encryption and the security of an old-school combination bike lock. The combination lock has a two-fold purpose – keeping the flash drive physically rooted to an object like a chair or desk with the steel cable, while offering another layer of security for would-be data thieves to contend with. It’d be cool if they threw in a fingerprint reader to really frustrate those who want to access the data within.
