Acer’s new Ferrari notebooks will be equipped with Broadcom’s Intensi-fi draft 802.11n wireless chipsets, offering up to 7 times the WiFi speed of conventional 802.11g products. Ferrari 1000 notebooks will be the recipients of this 802.11n draft technology. When used in conjunction with Acer’s InviLink Nplify accelerated mobile wireless technology, notebook users will be able to handle high-bandwith multimedia content smoothly without any hitches. The 802.11n draft solution could still have some problems from time to time as the final specifications have not been put down in letter yet.
