Asono has unveiled a new digital audio player in the form of the M1. This high capacity flash-based player comes in three configurations – 1GB, 2GB, and 4GB of flash memory. Features include audio support for MP3, WMA, and WMA DRM while it plays back video in AVI, DivX, WMV, and ASF without any problems. You can also view your digital photographs via the 1.5″ 65k color OLED display. The small screen size isn’t really conducive to watch videos at length, but just the very idea of having the ability is enough to soothe some. Battery life is rated at 15 hours for audio and 3.5 hours for video. The M1 measures 40mm x 87mmx 7.4mm and weighs 30g. The 1GB and 2GB models will retail for 11 Euros and 151 Euros respectively.
