Dangaard Telecom of Denmark has introduced the Aytobe Personal Navigation Device that is powered by the vaunted SiRFStar III GPS chip that offers pinpoint accuracy within the shortest time possible. The Aytobe measures a travel-friendly 130mm x 76mm x 23mm size and comes with a 3.5″ touchscreen display. An Intel PXA255 300MHz processor powers the device, while the hardware configuration consists of 64MB of internal memory, a USB 1.1 port, an SD memory card slot, and a 1.5W loudspeaker. Software is provided via Smart2Go that is able display maps in 2D or 3D glory. The Aytobe will retail somewhere in the region of 250 Euros and will include an IR remote control and an SD card.
