The Blaupunkt TravelPilot DX-V is an Australian exclusive, so you won’t be seeing it on our shores anytime soon. The TravelPilot DX-V satellite navigation system comes with a huge 6.5″ TFT color LCD that displays everything in a generous 16:9 format which works out great for your eyes. The display is also able to split into two sections that portray the map on one while the other denotes the arrow. There is even an automatic traffic congestion avoidance function via RDS/TMC to get you to work on time through the fastest possible route. The TravelPilot DX-V uses vehicle speed wire in addition to the standard GPS signal, pooh-poohing the threat of traveling via tunnels. The built-in gyroscope works great in providing the system with a 3D image of the surroundings.
