
The Chumby aims to make a huge splash when released next year. Its capabilities are limited by your imagination, as you can wield your programming skills to program this diminutive handheld device to do pretty much what you want. Hardware specifications include a 266MHz ARM controller, 32MB of SDRAM, a 3.5″ 320 x 240 touchscreen display, WiFi and USB connectivity, a pair of speakers, and audio in/out. The Chumby is controlled via the touchscreen or the squeeze sensors located on the casing itself. Imagine waking up to your favorite MP3 tunes on the Chumby, pushing the alarm clock into the annals of history. The Chumby will retail for $150 when released in March next year.
