Cloche the hanging fridge

Joakim Oscarsson has designed the Cloche – a miniscule fridge that hangs from the ceiling. This weird home contraption comes in the shape of half a sphere, and looks to be less than practical in the scheme of things, unless you are a person who likes to torture yourself each time you get hit by the munchies. The Cloche does not only keep foodstuff fresh – it also doubles up as a lamp that illuminates the room when dark. It is currently in the design concept stage and does not look likely to go into production anytime soon. Should the Cloche be available commercially, stores carrying this device ought to offer some free ladders with each sale as a promotional gimmick.
