Looks like everything inside the PC will come with its own cooling fan eventually if technological advancement continues at the current breakneck pace. Corsair Memory will be shipping its DXH XMS2 Dominator module that offers an optional fan for cooling purposes. It will run at PC2-8888 C4 (1111MHz at CAS Latency 4) speeds. This RAM module comes with 4 heat sinks to further help it keep cool. This new module is tipped to retail anywhere between $600 to $650, while the slower PC2-8500 C5 option that does not require any fan is slightly cheaper at $380 to $400. What next – a cooling fan for your soundcard?
