What better way to prevent bread from getting moldy than firing UV light at it? You can now preserve freshly baked bread for a week after its expiration date with this UV Breadbox. This device comes with a built-in timer that will turn the light on and off in order to maintain just the right amount of UV light. Unfortunately, this device is currently unavailable at stores as it is a simple do-it-yourself project. Alternatively, if you are too lazy to get those hands working, you can also prevent bread from getting moldy by storing it in the freezer.
