Any camera worth its salt ought to have an underwater housing, but forking out a few hundred dollars for a plastic case often makes one think more than once. Plus, if you have a few digital cameras in your household and want to take the entire family scuba-diving, purchasing individual underwater housing would border on the financially foolish. Ewa-Marine decided to provide some relief to consumers by introducing its durable PVC bag that is more than capable of accomodating most cameras and video gadgets underwater. It doesn’t give full access to all the camera’s controls, but there is enough leeway for the most common functions. The majority of Ewa-Marine bags can be submerged up to 30 feet. Prices range from $100 upwards.
