Flexible display panel used on payment cards

SiPix and SmartDisplayer have developed the world’s first flexible display panel where it is embedded onto an ISO-compliant payment card to form the One Time Password (OTP) DisplayCard. Cardholders can generate and display a dynamic password that is used just once and discarded after that. To obtain a new, unique number, just press the button on the card. This is a great development as banks can now have more secure online transactions via two-factor authentication. Th flexible, 0.258mm thin e-paper will be mass produced by SiPix for use with merchant banks before the year is over.
