
Sony has officially announced the GPS peripheral for their dying portable console, the PSP. Among the questions to consider would be – will this add-on provide full GPS functionality on your PSP, and can game developers tap into this functionality by creating a game which depends on your location? The GPS receiver for the PSP is slated to be released on December 7, 2006 at the recommended retail price of $50. Do you guys think that the GPS function will revive the PSP’s flagging sales?
