Hitachi introduces W37L-H9000 LCD HDTV

Japan was introduced to Hitachi’s W37L-H9000 LCD TV, and this High Definition TV boasts a panel that offers a 178 degrees field-of-view via its new ISP alpha technology. The W37L-H9000 has a resolution of 1366 x 768 that is more than adequate to meet the needs of future optical disc formats as well as next generation consoles. This HD-ready LCD TV has a brightness of 500cd/m2 and comes with an integrated digital video recorder, utilizing a pair of tuners. High definition video can be recorded onto the internal 250GB hard drive via XCodeHD to keep the resolution intact. You can pick up the W37L-H9000 for approximately $3,050 when it is available this September. Read more about it in the Japanese press release.
