LG.Philips LCD develops new prototype

According to the Korea Times, monitor manufacturer LG.Philips LCD has successfully developed a prototype of an LCD screen that changes the viewing angle from 180 degrees to 80 degrees in an instant at the touch of a button. This ensures you get your privacy while doing work, and can easily share details of your upcoming presentation with a co-worker by changing the viewing angle. Notebooks should be equipped with this new LCD display when the prototype is refined and goes into production.
