Gizmodo has the lowdown on the upcoming Zune from Microsoft. The scroll wheel lookalike is nothing quite like the namesake – it is actually a quartet of buttons in a wheel formation. The buttons do work in a similar manner though, as scrolling speeds increase the longer the button is held down. If you’re familiar with the way Windows Media Center works, zipping through the Zune will be a joy. The Zune has a grip behind to give you a more comfortable video viewing experience in landscape mode, while the dock connector is located at the bottom. Additional features include an FM tuner and transmitter, but it is a sure bet that the Zune won’t have WiFi capabilities.
