New notebooks available from Fujitsu

Fujitsu has released a quartet of new notebooks, adding to the number of Biblio and LOOX range. It is rather puzzling to note that none of the new releases will be powered by a Merom processor, although the NF60T will run on a dual core AMD 1.67GHz Turion 64 X2 processor. The said notebook also comes with 512MB of RAM, and a 100GB hard drive. The NF40T targets more casual users with its 1.46GHz Celeron M410 processor, 512MB RAM and 80GB hard drive. Both models are equipped with WiFi, FireWire, USB 2.0, and Gigabit Ethernet connectivity, a 15.4″ LCD screen, and a PCMCIA and ExpressCard slot. The LOOX Q and LOOX P70T/V are powered by the Core Solo U1400 1.2GHz chip and ship with a 12.1″ WXGA LCD display, 512MB RAM, a measly 30GB hard drive, WiFi and Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity. The difference between the two? The P70T/V is a tablet PC.
