Panasonic has unveiled a couple of new media recorders that form a bridge between the past and the present. The new Diga line of Media Recorders are able to record video onto a hard drive, DVD, or even the archaic VHS format. The DMR-XP20V and DMR-XW40V comes equipped with 250GB and 400GB hard drives respectively. You can even play back media from your SD card with the DMR-XW40V, and the very same machine is able to rip any audio CD onto a SDHC card on-the-fly. These Media Recorders are ready to meet the next generation in home entertainment with built-in high definition video support.
